The Sunday School has a lot of activities coming up as we “Celebrate the Sunday School”. We will begin the celebration on Sunday, January 20th. The celebration will culminate on Sunday, February 10th as we host an ice cream sundae party after church. Students will have the opportunity to read Bible verses each week in church, work on the Sunday School banner, and decorate the rooms! We will honor the Sunday School workers on Sunday, January 27th by enjoying breakfast with the students.
The mission event for January/February may be a visit to Heritage Nursing Center. The students will also make lots of cards for those on the sick and shut-in list as the mission project for January/February.
It is that time again when we sell Wolfgang Candy as a fundraiser for the Church Library & the Sunday School. The order forms will soon be handed out on Sunday, February 20th and will be due on Sunday, February 3rd. The candy will be available 2-3 weeks before Easter. The info will be sent home with Sunday School students and will be available for anyone else who would like to sell or buy some!
The following is the schedule for upcoming Sunday School happenings:
January 20th - "Celebrate the Sunday School Students” – we will prepare for the celebration by decorating the classrooms and the students.
January 27th - “Celebrate Sunday School Workers” – breakfast with the Sunday School workers will begin at 9:30 am.

We thank all of you who helped with the Advent Workshop. We had a great time of fellowship, good food, and Advent activities. We thank all of you for a special evening and hope you had a good time! We thank all of you who attended the Christmas Eve Family Service and a special thanks goes to all of the children and youth who were willing to wear costumes and become a part of the nativity story and to the volunteers who helped with the special “Christmas Gifts” reading and candlelighting.
We will see you in Sunday School!
