The youth group started December with a Holiday Brunch to help raise funds toward the Rock 2008 trip. The group worked hard and made almost $350 once the sales from the crafts were added in. We thank all of you who supported this event by coming to eat and making your donation toward the meal. We also thank all of you who purchased or sold Joe Corbi’s pizza kits and cookie dough. Again, this fundraiser helps the youth with the Rock trip.

 

The youth had an overnighter at the church in November in order to make the crafts that were sold before Christmas. We enjoyed music, played games (like the 6 hour Monopoly game!), played video games, ate a lot of food, and worked on the crafts.

 

The youth group will travel to Ocean City over the weekend of January 11-13 to attend Rock 2008. We have 24 youth attending this year along with 12 adults. We hopefully will have enough transportation to get all of us down there plus all of the food we take with us!! We thank all of you who have helped us out so much with the funds needed for this trip. Your donations have helped to pay registration fees for some of the youth. Your donations have also helped us pay for the hotel and will help us buy the food we take with us for breakfasts and snacks. We also thank the United Methodist Women who will provide food for us before we leave on Friday.
