Subject: Worship and Press Conference

Dear Baltimore-Washington Conference Disciples,

Last week I wrote to you about an important worship service and press conference at John Wesley Church in Baltimore on Friday, December 7, 11:00 AM. This is in response to the increase of violence in the city which now has the second highest murder rate per capita in the Nation. We will commit to the people of Baltimore that we will work with them to restore hope and healing, present salvation and to develop the city one community at a time. It is important for you to come to the worship and to bring individuals with you. Please announce this in your congregation this Sunday.
